Bottle from the Craft Beer Advent Calendar. Pours a hazy golden colour with a lacy off-white head. Grassy, citrus and malty aromas. Taste is dry, earthy, and slightly bready. Not heavily carbonated. Short bitter finish. My first kellerbier. manuchampions (1245) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 30, 2012
Pours a hazy light gold with a thin ring of off white cap. Aroma is lemony with a grassy hop note. Some spice and yeast predominant. Taste is quite bitter and sharp with lemon then yeast and a faint amount of cereal malts. Finish is lingering bitterness. Pleasant. VertBaconStrips (2422) - Blerkablerka, VENEZUELA - OCT 27, 2012
Yarp. Poured out a slightly hazy bright yellow gold with a tight white cap that leaves a mess. Mellow, slightly lemon fruit nose with honey, wheat and a mild sour herbal thingy. Maybe even earthy. I don’t know this style at all but knowing this is ayinger I can assume its done properly. The taste is pretty good with some initial mellow bitterness that goes away only to return as a shadow on the finish. Dirt, dry, slight sourness, maybe the lemon isn’t there as it was with the aroma, grain. Very enjoyable and drinkable in binge worthy volumes. reebtogi (6403) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 25, 2012
330ml bottle from Advent calendar pours a hazy golden yellow color with a 2 finger white head that settles quite quickly leaving some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is bready with some light fruit and yeast. Taste is grainy malt sweetness with a grassy hop bitterness and a yeasty dry finish. Light to medium in body with decent carbonation. A good representation of the style and worth a try. stefannilssons (1578) - SWEDEN - OCT 17, 2012

Draught @ Oluthuone Leskinen, Oulu.
Hazy yellow beer with a thin and creamy head. Freshly malty, bready and slightly creamy. Grassy and slightly herbal hops. A hint of fermented fruitiness. Nice, balanced yeast aroma. Dryish, but well bready maltiness, balanced finish with sourish yeast, bready malts and a hint of grassy bitterness. Smooth texture has nice yeasty stickiness and medium body. Very good, balanced lager. Mowbeer (3831) - Pilsen, CZECH REPUBLIC - SEP 28, 2012
