Mariusz (12300) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - AUG 8, 2012
Yellow coloured with a short-lived, off-white head. Sweet toffee aroma followed by a red fruit and caramel flavour. Not bad.

Gift from SJ. A simople brew with some nice qualities. I enjoyed the mild hop and bread charecteristics. It had an odd, but pleasurable bitter - sweet finish.

Botella de 500ml. Vaso Weizen. Paladar suave y final equilibrado. Asimilación muy agradable. 500ml bottle. Weizen glass. Enjoyed on may´12. (thanks – one more time- to Manolo from “Cerveceria Freiburg” ´cause it´s not too easy to find nice spots of Kellerbier style) Pale golden in color, chill haze. Mildy malty & floral hop aromas. Maltiness all around overwhelms low bitterness –shown by a subtle citric touch- . Some ripe apples too. Gentle mouthfeel & well balanced finish. Pleasant drinkability.

La classicona keller tedesca, ma forse almeno secondo mio personale un pò meglio di altre. In bocca in effetti e buona e dissetante.

Marko (6281) - Split / Zagreb, CROATIA - APR 9, 2012
Ayinger Speis & Trank. Hazy golden body, lovely white head. Eggy grainy nose, slightly yeasty, clearly pointing where this is going. Soft grainy eggy malty taste (surprise surprise), but actually balanced enough to be pleasant.

On tap @ Ayingers Speis und Trank, Platzl, München. Pours opaque golden colour with a decent head. Subdued malt aroma. Fairly sour flavour with a yeasty aftertaste. Not as great as Aying’s other offerings.

500ml Bottle. Appearance is cloudy slightly orangish-yellow color with light, fizzy, off-white head. Aroma is citrus, herbal and yeasty. Taste is similar with heavy yeast and strong citrus flavors along with mild herbal hop bitterness. Palate is light- to medium-bodied, slick texture, fizzy carbonation, semi-dry finish.

brugmanneke (283) - GERMANY - OCT 9, 2011
(bottle) Light yellow, hazy colour, foamy white head. Yeasty, grainy/cereal aroma with only slight herbal hoppy notes. Quite dry, bitter taste. Soft carbonation. Hardly any sweetness. Not bad at all, but a bit boring.

3.5
envane (586) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 10, 2011
Cloudy yellow with a white head. Odd woody aroma. Taste is malt, yeast, wood and slight tartness. Dry, spicy finish.
