RexTalionis (3778) - FINLAND - DEC 25, 2012
Bottled. Pours goldenbronze in color with a frothy white head. Sweet wheat, banana mostly in aroma. Yeasty with some wheat in taste. Good, but the aroma and flavor doesn’t stand up in comparison with the regular Ayinger hefeweizen. Sligthly sweet in aftertaste.

Aroma has hints of banana and grass. Taste starts out smooth with banana notes but hops and citrusy fruitness kicks in fast.

Gift from SJ. Very thin body. Nose and taste of wheat, clove, banana and mild citrus. A little too weak for my tastes, but it is a good lawn cutter.

Taste is sweet, slightly sour, tiny bitter and tiny metallic with bread, lemon juice, cloves, coriander, lemon zest, crackers and hints of overripe banana and pineapple. Bottled from Ica Maxi Hazy, almost kurky, orange. firm, white head. Banana and oranges along with yeasty notes in abundance in the aroma. A bit thin, but still ok body. Rather sweet with spicies and banana in the flavour.
