Bottle. Unclear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, wheat, light to moderate yeasty, banana, gum, fruit - orange. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (190408)

Cloudy orange, billowing light head. Classic hefeweizen aroma - banana, some citrus, hint of coriander. A bit watery in the mouth. Sweet and wheaty body, but a bit thin, and some other of the usual tasty components - just not quite enough of them. Very thin on the hops, for instance. Pretty good for a lower alcohol brew, but I like their full-fat stuff so much that this is a very poor substitute.

Hazy orangey yellow, thick and foamy head. Nose is wheat, yeast, little appley sourness and spices. Some earth even. Flavor is a bit cellary wheat and yeast, straightforward. Spritzy and light palate. This one also has that appley and tart feeling of it’s bigger brother, only lighter.

On tap (5.2%): Aromas of yeast, banana and spice. These flavors followed into a medium-bodied beer that was well-balanced with a bit of dryness to it.

Maria (10213) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAR 19, 2008
Dark golden, hazy with a huge, nice and creamy head. The aroma has notes of wheat, clove and banana. The flavour is surprisingly powerful considering the low ABV, and IMO just as nice as many stronger wheat beers. It has sweetness and notes of wheat, clove, banana and the finish has a slightly dry citrus.

Bottle, Ayinger pub, Munich. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is hazy dark yellow to light amber. Aroma is lightly malty (bread), lightly yeasty (cobwebs), with notes of banana and clove. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Nothing special, but not bad for a light weissbier.

This beer pours a cloudy orange color with a medium head to it. It has a nice aroma of floral sencts and hops. as you drink it there is an initial bitterness with some tang on the back of your palate. It is very appealing and a ncie dinner beer.
