Dezent hefesäuerlicher Duft. Hefiger, leicht säuerlicher Antrunk. Mitte streng, erscheint gewürzt, Zitrone. Herb ausklingend. Ok.
Color dorado amarillento, translúcido, con capa de espuma blanca de tres o más dedos de grosor (muy buena retención). Carbonatación a tope visualmente (de las cervezas más carbonatadas que haya visto, aunque luego no se note en boca). Textura acuosa. Aroma fresquísimo a hierba, paja seca, cereal y lúpulo muy suave. Mucha miel en nariz cuando atempera. En boca, sigue al aroma. Frescura aportada por el cereal, hierba y un mínimo de lúpulo. Final acuoso y suave. Vom Fass at Ayinger Speis und Trank, Munich. Apparently fresh and direct from the cellars in Aying. The taste definitely leads me to believe it! Hazy (that classic naturturb) gold. Fresh almost milky beer aroma. Soft and savory malty brew. Light bodied. Very little lingers on the palate. Probably the best kellerbier ive had yet. Sweet, fresh, satisfying. Hazy pale yellow color, with a greenish shine, and a nice thick white head. Aroma is grassy, malts, cereals. Taste is grassy, malts, bready, spices. Medium bodied, medium carbonation. Bottle, from Message in a Bottle, Cleethorpes. Hazy lemon gold, minimal fizzle of white head that sinks quickly, gentle condition. Low fruity nose with some hints of lemon citrus and a touch of yeast. Slightly spicy in the mouth with a touch of chalky yeastiness and low lemon notes. Kellerbier is a type of German beer which is typically not clarified or pasteurised. Kellerbier can be either top- or bottom-fermented. The term Kellerbier literally translates as "cellar beer", referring to its cool lagering temperatures, and its recipe likely dates to the Middle Ages. In comparison with most of today’s filtered and pasteurised lagers, Kellerbier contains more of its original brewing yeast, as well as vitamins, held in suspension. As a result, it is distinctly cloudy, and is described by German producers as naturtrüb (naturally cloudy). Kellerbier and its related form Zwickelbier are often served directly from the barrel (for example, in a beer garden) or bottled. These beers do not undergo the above-mentioned modern precautions.
