COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ayinger Oktober Fest Märzen has a deep golden color tinted with amber. It is lightly sweet with a malty nose balanced with floral hops. Its medium to big body and alcohol is not overpowering. The soft dryness comes from long maturation.

A - Pours a clear golden amber with ruby highlights. 3 fingers of foamy off-white head with rings of lace. S - Doughy honey yeast with lemon & metallic notes. Funky caramel mixed in with brown sugar as well. Tangy peaches. T - Bready malted grain blended with a musty yeast. A toasted caramel envelopes mild earthy lemon-citrus hops. Faint cinnamon spice. Aftertaste is of soft spiced apples. M - Medium body with a smooth texture. An Oktoberfest with great yeast character. Good all around. I wish it was cheaper. Serving type: bottle 10-30-2010

Keg at Casc. It pours clear orange - amber with a thick off-white head. The aroma is soft, fresh, bready, cereal, bran flakes and malt loaf The taste is creamy, smooth, toasty grain, orange sponge cake, cereal, bready, hay, cereal, touch of spice and grass with a dry finish. Medium body and high, foamy carbonation. Really nice depth to this. Well rounded and drinkable.

The word of the day is sweet. Likely the sweetest marzen out there, which makes this a highly drinkable beer. Has a soft, malty aftertaste and ever-so-slight boozy finish. In all, a very solid offering.

Presentation of beer to be sold at the norwegian Vinmonopolet. 20.sep. 2017. Bottle 50 cl. Slightly Hazy red amber. High, long lasting, white head. Aroma of light caramel and dried red fruit. Medium body with notes of light caramel, but there is also a crisp feeling from hops. Nice light, bitter aftertaste. Very well brewed. High drinkability. Orginally brewed to a church beer festival which takes place simultaneously with the beer festival in Munich.

All I know is that this is balanced asf. Sweet malt and roast. Smooth solid traditional. Yummy wether advertising or not.

500 ml bottle. Amber orange pour topped by a massive pillowy beige head. Subtle sweet malt aroma. Flavor is sweet toasted malt, with tea-like notes. Soft and drinkable, with bready, toffee notes. Dry malty finish has light earthy hop notes. Prost!

Bottle from N Loop Liquors. Light copper colored pour with a tight head. Toasty nose. A bit of singed grass. Gentle brioche, light bit of caramelized brown sugar. Drinks a touch sweet. Earthy toasted grain and some bucolic hoppiness. Expressive malt. Medium / full-bodied. Nice marzen.

I poured it from the bottle into a pint glass. It pours a light amber with a fluffy, white head and lacing. The aroma is hay and caramel. It was a little faint. The taste is caramel, bread, and grass. It's smooth and easy to drink. This is good.
