Pours a beautiful copper color w/ a medium semi creamy froth leaving a dusty layer on top. Aroma is balanced malt and hop. Medium nectar w/ ample residual effers. Flavors are fruity w/ a nice malty backbone. Just enough hops to sustain a perfect balance. No annoying grassy hay aromas or flavors. Smooth w/ a crisp finish. Highly recommended. This is THE best Oktober Fest-Märzen I have ever had. There is no other. Smooth and sweet. This is the one beer you can’t get enough of. Whatever these brewers did, they did it right! Insertpunhere (31) - Illinois, USA - SEP 24, 2014
This is the best Oktoberfest beer I have had. You have to let this one warm up a bit, do not drink this too cold. The flavors will be hidden, let it warm and the flavors will open. The nose is of natural cereal and bread. The palate is similar with soft malt. When compared to all the others, it is clear that this is special. A world class Oktoberfest. Prost! jimcman (4) - USA - JAN 18, 2016 does not count
I am going to pass on the mouth feel, aroma, starts with this ends with that nonsense with this one. This is the best marzen I have ever consumed. Spaten and Paulaner are still world class, but this is the best! Slick75 (10) - - SEP 20, 2016
This is the best Oktoberfest I've ever had. It is sweet but and caramely with a touch of nuttiness. It has a bit the "European" flavor but still tastes fresh (not skunky).

After one of these it is hard to convince myself that there might be another Oktoberfest worth trying. Every Fall the search is resumed, but nothing else compares. Great malt aroma, incredible balance, not cloying, great mouth feel. not to be missed. Gonzo (1) - Wayne, Illinois, USA - JUL 5, 2005 does not count
In a beer drinkers life, this is the best beer I’ve ever had. It was superbly balanced, square in the palate and aeromatic on the finish. I couldn’t believe it when I was drinking it. STIII (2) - - SEP 27, 2012 does not count
I just picked up 60 bottles- this is truly a great Seasonal and is the best Oktoberfest I have ever had plus it seems very consistent from year to year. The refrigerator is now stocked and I will be popping the top on one of these bottles this evening! baseballguy (246) - Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 6, 2001
What a great lager. The fresh, live, citrusy flavor is exquisitely judged. And quite the kick on this baby! Terrific brewing. johnroblawson (40) - Ames, Iowa, USA - OCT 12, 2012
Green apple amongst a yeasty aroma. Same with taste with wonderful bubbly feel and balanced bittersweet finish. Wonderful beer!
