3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
I liked this beer, but I was surprised to see how highly it is rated. The aroma was not too strong, some caramel maltyness, and a good bit of earthy and floral hops. It had a clear, amber-oragne color, with a medium-sized, creamy white head. The flavor was somewhat bitter and fruity, with some sweetness for balance. Pretty creamy and smooth on the palate, with some fizzyness; a good mouthfeel. Overall I thought it was a good beer, just not as good as some competing types.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Huge, very sparkly/bubbly head... pours a clear dark yellow color. Very malty and floral aroma. Very smooth beer, dry, malty taste. A little bit of citrus. Not my favorite Oktoberfest/Marzen... but a good one nonetheless.
1 pt .9 oz. bottle.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bright orange body with a small off-white head. Lace clings to glass. Aroma is floral and citrus-ie with some sweetness. Flavors of citrus, caramel malt, a bit of pepper and hops. Finish is slightly bitter… thanks for the ratings Dad!!

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a radiant orange hue with a thick, fluffy white head. Aroma is heavy yeast, with grapes, white raisin, maybe some stale honey. This beer is highly carbonated, almost overly so, and stings the tip of the tongue upon the first sip. Finishes malty, with a nice hoppy backbone, and an above-average bitterness for this "style". Toasty malts are present in the finish as well. If I had to sum this up, I would say "Newcastle with a bunch of added hops thrown in".

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a orangish copper in color. There is a huge, fluffy white head on the pour. Not a lot in the nose of this beer at all. Taste is lots of malt. There’s a hint of nut and spice in the flavor. Very creamy on the mouthfeel and very easy drinking. This one will be gone before I realize it.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
It is interesting to note the disparity of flavours and aromas found in this beer, depending on the year it was rated. I found it to be a solid rep of the style, but with nothing flashy or special going on. Straightforward buttery caramel malt with a low floral hop profile in the finish that almost becomes unnoticable after the first few sips.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
500ml bottle. Pours a bright pumpkin orange with a nice thick foamy white cap that leaves sudsy lacing. Aroma is very sweet, malty, some plastic, and a little bit of alcohol. I can’t describe exactly why but I don’t really like the aroma. The plastic or the alcohol is distracting. It smells a little like a light Barleywine. Flavor is smooth and does not have any of the negative effects of the aroma. Crisp, somewhat dry. A pretty quick finish with just a touch of residual sweetness. This is fine but does not stick out as a great Octoberfest to me

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Orangish in appearance, the subtle malting becomes more apparent in aroma and flavor as the beer warms. A bit light-bodied, however, the low roasted malts are pleasant, yet undemanding on the palate. A very easy to drink offering that I may have underrated on this occassion.

More malt in the nose than in the taste! It has a dry grassy finish, but is very uninteresting.
