2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. The pour was a light clear amber with a huge (3-4 finger) white foamy head that had good retention and fairly good lacing.
The aroma was very light and mild of a toasted biscuit malt, a mild floral hop and a light doughy yeast with a hint of caramel.
The taste had an extremely light sweet malty presence from the start and finished about the same with a nice note of caramel at the end. The flavor was left hanging around for a nice long while after the swallow.
Mouthfeel was surprisingly light in body and watery in texture with a fizzy carbonation.
Overall an Oktoberfest that is super light in body and flavor. Although a tasty brew it could have used a little more of both.
Bottle from Merchants. Aroma is earthy hop, caramel, grain, fruity, dusty and good. Appearance is dark amber, light tan head, cleat, perfect frothy head. Taste is caramel, fruity, earthy hop, grains, dry, nice. Mouthfeel is light to medium body, light carbonation, dry caramel grain earthy aftertaste. Overall, this is a fantastic Festbier. melush (4222) - SPAIN - AUG 10, 2017

330 ml single bottle from Molly’s Spirits for $3.37. Clear, light amber appearance with a fluffy beige head. Aroma of Munich malt, bread, toasted grain, mild hops and light caramel/toffee. Similar flavor, adding mild to moderate sweetness, light to mild bitterness and a lingering Munich malt finish. Medium body with ample carbonation. Clean, smooth and easy to drink. Probably not too fresh, but this is drinking nicely. Spot on. fombe89 (3532) - Asturias, SPAIN - APR 10, 2017
