33 cL [email protected]/Brugmansia’s Cnudde tasting. Pours hazy yellow with a quickly disappearing white head. Coriander and wheat aroma. Flavour is mellow wheaty with a light fruit note. Light caramel malty note too. Ends with a light lingering wheaty and spiced flavour. Quite intense flavour.

Draught. Hazy dark orange colour, small white head. Wheat and fruits in aroma. Wheat, yeast and fruits in flavour. Hides the alcohol well, though it gives the beer a slightly "warmer" touch than normal weizens do.

Bottle courtesy of Chris & Dennis, thank you gentlemen.
Hazy orange color with a fluffy white head that settles quickly to leave good lacing. Aroma of licorice, bubblegum and grapefruit. Flavor also has banana and decent malts. Great example of the style.

Bottled at Teerenpeli Kaisaniemi, Helsinki. Muddy pale orange, creamy head. Powerful aroma of banana and cloves. Less sweet than many other weizenbocks and more drinkable. Mild and nowhere near overpowering. Like a hefeweizen just ramped up one small notch.

Papsoe (25055) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 31, 2008
(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of Maria. Hazy golden with a tall and lively off-white head. Aroma of yeast and banana. Medium body with sweet banana esters and cloves - kinda like fruit bubblegum perhaps. 290308

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes orangegelbes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch intensiv hefig fruchtig, Geschmack sehr hefig, fruchtig, bananig, leicht würzig, leicht alkoholisch.

Koelschtrinker (21834) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 6, 2011
Danke an Auxburg1986.

Bottle from Maruhn, Darmstadt
Cloudy blond color; medium-sized compact head. Nice aroma of wheat and banana. The mouthfeel is drier than expected, with too high carbonation, leading to a rather weak final; the flavor is mild, with some wheat, very light spicy touch, and probably a fermentation off-flavor that turns almost into sweet liquorice. Low bitterness. Not exciting.
