Pours a cloudy gold with a large white head. Aroma of fruit and malt. Definitely taste the malt in this bock, slightly sweet, obvious wheat flavors. A little bubblegum in there. An interesting beer, as I like Bocks, but don’t generally like wheat beers. But this is nice.

Bottle. Hazy golden to orange colour, average, creamy, white head. Mild aroma of wheat, yeast, banana, with notes of bread. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter, wheat, banana, clove, citrus, orange, light bread. Medium+ body, velvety, smooth texture, average carbonation. Very nice.

The aroma reminds me a lot of Ayinger Bräuweisse, and maybe that’s why I have a difficult time avoiding a comparison. I read a little about the differences in style. Still, I like the Bräuweisse more, and, given the choice, probably would prefer it nine times out of ten. I feel like I’m missing something, so I’ll have to give this one a more focused visit another time.

Szeretem én a weizenbockot mivel diszkréten egyensúlyozza az alkohol a pillekönnyű búza testet. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

BBD: not noticed, but within it.
Pours hazy dark gold-orange with frothy white head. Long head retention, some good lacing. Wheat, cereal, bready, citrusy, banana, spicy nose, Medium body, average carboantion, slick texture. Taste is some sweet, cereal, spicy. Really good weizenbock, but maybe not outstanding.

Bottle. Cloudy, honey-yellow color, excellent white foam. Aroma: wheat, cloves, banana, powerful, slightly white port. Taste: wheat, cloves and banana, a white port, easy sweetness.

Bright gold opaque pour, bubbly body and head - probably the nicest-looking weizen I’ve found. Lovely sugary and banana bread nose - notes of candied cherry, gingerbread, lemon. Taste is brown-sugar sweet, ripe banana, cherry, lemon. Spicy finish. Could use a bit more grain or hop to counteract the sweetness - but still excellent. Palate is velvety and luxurious. Overall - holy crap!
