Bottle from Oddbins London Bridge. Clear gold, pale brown with lasting white head. Quite a hoppy beer. Clean in mouth, hops are ok, quite bitter on finish. Not overly aromatic or fruity. Yes quite bitter. Leighton (21299) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 20, 2013
Bottle at home in London with Chris. Pours perfectly clear gold, effervescent, big white foam head. Nose holds ripe lemon, orange, hay, pale malts. Medium sweet flavor, lightly boozy, some lightly dry citrus fruits, stone fruits, pale biscuits. Medium bodied with high carbonation. Lightly warming finish, some sticky citrus fruits, light apple, hints of straw, dry biscuity pale malts. I guess you could call this a ’British IPA’ or something. So so.
