Bottle from The Avenue Store. Clear amber body with a thin beige head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of toffee, wood and nuts. Flavour of roasted malt, dried grass and a tangy finish. Thin body with a watery texture. Light fizz. A well balanced Bitter.

The taste is smooth, toasty, some bitterness, light caramel, wood, brown bread, light spice and dried fruits with a dry finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and velvety mouth-feel. Nice balance and great drinkability. A great bitter.
