Clear medium amber orange color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, grapefruit, orange - citrus. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, hppy, plastic notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.

Pigs Ear. Clear gold beer. Dry palate, low carbonation. Soggy sweet malt with a little bitter orange. Messy and a bit too much like hard work.
Cask at the Pig’s Ear BF 2010. Amber gold pour with no head. Malts and light nuts in the nose. Sweet, malty flavor with light toast, light earth, and cirtrusy bitterness. Light to medium in body with fine carbonation. Bready malt finish with faint, orange citrus notes. Pretty standard stuff.

Cask at Bon Accord, Glasgow. It pours clear amber with a small beige head. The nose is toasty, grainy, cereal, light toffee and cracker. The taste is bitter-sweet, biscuit, toasty grain, earth and cracker with a dry finish. Light-medium body and soft carbonation. Not bad, just pretty basic.
