Lovely rich hazelnutty roasty aroma. Very dark red, small loose head. Full palate, rich roast, gently sweet, but well attenuated and light. Chocolatey finish, bitter drying hops. A lovely characterful porter. 2/2 bonza beers from this pub so far - woo woo - right, we’re definitely staying for the rest of the ticks and some food!
