2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
650 ml bomber. Hazy yellow pour with a medium white head that soon recedes to a film. The aroma features some spent grains and banana. The taste is similar to the aroma; mixed grains, banana, and sour bubble gum. The palate is viscous and a bit oily slick and the carbonation is lively. Finishes medium in duration, dry and a bit sour. Overall: This might have been infected--something just tastes off.
Refrigerated brown bomber poured into a weizen glass, gusher lost almost half the bottle. Cloudy orange with huge off-white head. Aroma is grain, medium body, medium carbonation, and a little lacing. Taste is grain and a little agave. altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - SEP 26, 2015
Big bottle in Chevy Chase, MD. Bold orange body with huge head. Was quite the gusher and lost about half the bottle. Nose is spicy, oranges and wheat. Taste is nice and malty, of wheat, fruits and spices. Nice strong finish. Quite enjoyable. IPagan5 (106) - San Marcos, California, USA - APR 2, 2015

>> Clear straw pour, spotty lacing. Again aerated, drained, lightly acidic body. Brighter lemon. Nose is sugar, habanero, honey. Taste is waxy bitter, mild soap, long grassy bitterness. Clean, aerated, drained palate, but easy to drink.

Bottle. Pours cloudy peach gold with white head. Nose and taste of wheat malt, sweet agave, old tropical fruit, banana peel and clove. Lighter medium body. SDalkoholic (2424) - Linda Vista, California, USA - JUN 20, 2013
Bottle from Pacific Liquor: nose is somewhat sweet with a solid base of malts that also allow for a chance of spice or herbs in the faint background. The drink is mellow and extremely well balanced but the flavor is lacking with only a minimal taste of sweetness. The malts in this fall really flat and only suggest a hint of hay or grain wheat, and somehow I am unable to find any evidence of agave nectar in this. That’s too bad since this was my first beer recipe by Aztec Brewing and first impressions always stick with me.
