Blackberries, raspberries, honey flavour with nice caramell notes. This is a lovely mead with a surpriceinly low alcohollevel and not sp sweet that mead often are. I love it!
Bottle. Deep dark raspberry burgundy hue. Honey, clove, faint citrus and berry and honey sweetness. Flavor is berry, clove, some spice, berry and faint citrus. Light to medium slick body. RexTalionis (3813) - FINLAND - OCT 23, 2014
Bottle. Pours darker ruby mahogny (or a bit like some old blood, yikes) in color with a white head. Fresh blackberries, notes of clove and sweet honey in aroma. Nice aromas indeed and they seem to be what the label promises as well. Later on bit of some earthyness and spicyness appears as well aromawise. In taste you get some sweeter indications from the honey but the blackberries are quite strongly present too. A bit tart mouthfeel. The spicyness is there as well, more of some clove and blackberries hits you towards the finish. Consumed the brew somewhere away from the sunlight, let’s see what happens next...but seriously, something suggests that this would be a good one for the christmas weekends.
