Bottle. Pours like grape soda with no head. Aroma is blackberry and a hint of clove. Taste is blackberry and honey and a tiny hint of citrus. Full smooth palate. Very sweet but still incredibly tasty.

Bottle thanks to Bryan I think. Pours a reddish orange color with a small bubble head. A big apple and berry nose. Spicy notes dominate, I guess this is clove, smooth sweet apples, light berries. Quite nice.

Bottle. Clear ruby color no head. Smells like a Djarum. Clove, honey, berry and pepper. Tastes like a clove, honey, heat and a little sour. Syrupy but pretty smooth.

luttonm (6158) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAY 16, 2017
Bottle at Portland tasting. Dark clear red. A few soap bubbles. Deepest fruity honey. Huge honey nose. Fruity, dark (something, can’t read my notes). Very nice.

Bottle from Total Wine in Daytona. Clear bright reddish pour with minor head. Blackberry and clove dominate. Pretty good.

NikkTwist (3191) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 30, 2016
UPDATED: JAN 4, 2017 Sample draft at Bru Craft. Mostly clear very dark red purple pour. No head. Blackberry aroma. Plums. Acacia berries. Caramel. Heavy and succulent. Flavors are balanced but reads too syrupy sweet.

DandyWolfFloyd (1202) - Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 24, 2016
Aroma - berry, honey, clove, cinnamon, orange zest, and a slight must. Appearance - the body is a clean garnet red. The head is small and quickly rings out. The head is white in color. Very attractive. Taste - has blackberry, clove, cinnamon, orange zest, and honey. There is slight must. Palate - body is medium, texture is viscous, carbonation is soft, finish is sweet and spiced.

FROTHINGSLOSH (7670) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 11, 2016
Sampled on draft at Vintage Estate this mead poured a dark red-plum color with a medium sized foamy pink head that faded quickly and left minimal lacing. The aroma was cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. The flavor was berries, honey, nutmeg, clove and cinnamon. Long nutmeg and clove finish. Moderately full bodied. Nice.

Throw this in a red wine barrel for a few months! This beer is super delicious, looks amazing. Looks like a deep cranberry juice, with purplish, white fluffy/sticky head. A low abv for a mead, but I could definitely see myself slamming a couple of these back with someone who prefers their wine.
