Bottle at Craigs Edinburgh. Clear gold no head. Good proper clean mead aroma. Hazelnut. Nutty. Decent. I liked it straight up mead. Drake (14332) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 25, 2017
Bottle. Hazy yellow, strong legs. Aroma of honey, melon, Whiskey, booze. Taste is strong honey, strong whiskey, vanilla, lemon. Full bodied. Nice. JStax (7309) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - DEC 11, 2016
375 ml bottle poured into a tulip glass. The mead is a clear yellow. Still. The aroma has sweet honey, moderate woody notes from the barrels, and is a bit boozy. I was expecting this to be over the top boozy with the alcohol content, but it is surprisingly mellow. I’ve had the mead for over a year though, so it could have given it time to calm down. I was very impressed by this one. neepsntatties (2076) - Portland, Oregon, USA - NOV 5, 2016
Bottle shared by Douglass88. Colour...very pale straw. Nose...very honey bunny but not much rye. Still, very pretty scents. Palate...dry, sweet and sappy with honeyed chamomile, pekoe and jasmine. The finish is long and oaky with nips of rye. douglas88 (9797) - Portland, Oregon, USA - NOV 5, 2016
Bottle. Pours a clear yellow color. The aroma is huge honey and light whiskey. The flavor is big sweet hot honey, whiskey, just awesome.

Clear pale golden with some nice legs, no head. Aroma is sweet honey, some vanilla, oak, whiskey, alcohol with some glue notes. Taste is very sweet and boozy with a light spicy note. Finish is sweet with honey, toffee, vanilla, quite intense boozy notes with some bourbon character and light spiciness. Full bodied, no carbonation, oily texture.
Good but too hot with some higher alcohol notes.
Boozey mead smell. Taste is decent generic honey mead with a bit of an alcohol presence but it’s not too bad. Medium body. Art (3220) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 17, 2016
Shared thanks to Dan. Pours a clear brownish golden yellow. I was expecting a big boozy bomb and it was a tad more refined than I expected. Aromas of sweet honey, alcohol is certainly there, slight vanilla. Taste is sweet with an alcohol kick. Medium thick body. radagast83 (8624) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - MAR 10, 2016
375ml bottle shared by DCLawyer, thanks! Poured a clear dark yellow color, mostly still. Honey comes through pretty strong in this one, boozy legs on it. Sweet, but dry enough to be enjoyable. Nice.
