Getting some orange in the smell but nowhere else really. Overall not bad. A little boozy. I’d rather try something new than have this one again.

UPDATED: OCT 31, 2014 Bottle: Thanks to Kevin for a taste. Pale straw, almost clear with no head. Aroma of strange wet oak, dirty and musty in a sense with quite a bit of sweet honey. Taste is sweet honey, light florals, and a bit of finishing, dry oak. Again, not much orange, if any... But maybe orange blossom honey isn’t supposed to taste like orange. Perhaps it’s referring to the color. Not bad, but B. Nektar makes way better stuff. This is a little bland.

Chipalsa (1310) - Florida, USA - AUG 27, 2013
Bottle from Knightly Spirits
Appearance - Pale yellow, minimal bubbles
Aroma - Honey, pollen, vanilla
Taste - Oak, melon, oranges, honey

This is a pretty solid mead, and it finishes with a hint of acidity.

Drake (14332) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 24, 2013
750 mL bottle from Greenlife, Asheville. Pours a clear very pale yellow color. No head, moderate legs. Vinous, winey aroma with notes of citrus and wax. The taste is sweet honey, citrus, faint wood, fruity finish and a bit of hot wax. Medium bodied, fairly hot. Good mead, but I’m still not digging orange blossom honey as base for mead.

750ml bottle. Light golden flat pour. Nose of citrus, honey, and warm sugar. Tastes follows the nose with a sweet finish. A tinge light on the palate but a solid mead as a whole. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle courtesy of Vincent. Poured a viscous, light yellow, near clear. Notes of citrus, honey, oak, floral notes. Pretty boozy.

PhillyCraft (8189) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 16, 2013
Bottle shared with Simon, Keith, Tom, Joe and Brie. Clearish pour, notes of floral peppermint, candy cigarettes, honey. Too boozey for 14% and too much perfume in this mead. Mouthfeel was very spicy and astringent. Not a fan of this one from B Nektar.
