DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 15, 2013
Sample from a 750ml bottle. Totally clear, nearly colorless body. Maybe the palest of yellows. No head or lace, but decent legs visible. Orange, honey, and prominent oak wood nose. Floral smells too. Sweet taste. Alcohol warmth, but no burn, but a light bite. Floral and oak flavor, with an orange blossom finish. Just had the B. Nektar Wildberry Pyment before this, much preferred that.

Draft to taster. Looks solid; a still, transparent (almost perfectly clear) light gold. Smells of honey and light oranges. Tastes like it smells, only better, with great orange balance and a creamy finish. Tastes much richer than it smells.

Tmoney99 (14486) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 19, 2012
Bottle sample. Poured clear golden color with good legs. Medium to heavy sweet citrus floral and alcohol aroma that lasted even after the liquid was gone. Medium to full body with a smooth texture. Medium to heavy balanced sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet alcohol warming finish of moderate to long duration. Complex solid mead.

magsinva (1250) - Virginia, USA - DEC 13, 2012
Bottle from state line - pours clear straw with no carbonation. Aroma has notes of vanilla, honey and orange zest. Taste is medium sweet with some heat in the finish. Overall, another solid mead from B. Nektar.

mikesaum (711) - Newark, Ohio, USA - OCT 4, 2012
My bottle reads 12.5 abv, not 14, pours almost clear, has a slight golden hue, legs are so so.aroma is mostly just sweet honey, floral, pretty simple. Taste is sweet honey, subtle orange hints, and a little vanilla in the background from the oak. Its ok but its just real simple

FullObs (136) - Illinois, USA - SEP 4, 2012
Bottle. Pours almost clear. Aroma is a sweet floral and oranges just as expected. Taste is honey and orange cough syrup. Not really my thing.

OmegaX (1374) - Florida, USA - JUL 8, 2012
Bottle. Nose is alcohol, some strong honey and light orange notes. Vanilla and oak. Very strong alcohol aroma. Body is clear light yellow with fine bubbles all around the glass. Taste is medicine, alcohol, vanilla, light and I mean very light orange, and more alcohol. Pretty hot (wasabi style hot). Not my favorite from B.Nektar, though, it’s not that bad. The orange notes are very subdued all the way throughout. Overall, this is a very underwhelming mead but still pleasant.

JStax (6502) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - JUN 27, 2012
Bottle shared with some friends. Appearance is a very pale yellow with no foam. Aroma is lightly orangy with a nicely sweet honey presence. Finish is long and sweet.

annunz123 (957) - Taunton, Massachusetts, USA - JUN 18, 2012
Medicine-like honey, orange, and a little wood in the aroma. Flavor is sweet and fruity. Some flowery notes and alcohol in the aftertaste. Good mead, but not my favorite.
