750 mL bottle from Lueken’s Oldsmar. Pours pale gold with a bubble or three. This baby has legs! Nose is fresh honey, a hint of chardonnay, and light fruits with alcohol. Flavor starts out a bit tart then works its way to fruit, honey, alcohol, and finishes wonderfully clean with a warming sensation in the stomach. Great mead! GTMW 09. A sweet honey aroma with a surprising amount of ctirus remaining from the honey. A little vanilla in there as well from the oak. Sweet and slightly thick with a flavor much like the aroma. BiiruBierBeer (1059) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - JUN 11, 2016
Light honey smell and taste. It’s a pretty plain mead but still good. Medium body. Skyview (6115) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - NOV 4, 2009
Sampled during Great Taste of Midwest ’09 in Madison, Wisconsin. Pours a still riesling colored mead with a clean disk top and large viscosity tears inside the glass. Aroma of mild flower (typical of orange blossoms) sweet honey, a hint of vanilla and a touch of alcohol. Taste is sweet soft honey, vanilla and a hint of citrus juice. Finish is soft with some metallic background, with a short lived vanilla, sweet honey and citrus aftertaste. MeadMe (1694) - Fishhawk, Florida, USA - OCT 13, 2010
Pours a nice very pale yellow hue. A few bubbles manage to come to the top and form a semi ring around the glass. Aromas are rich and sweet, very floral. The flavor is pure fresh honey right from the comb. Nice floral flavors that come off almost like sweet jasmine. A touch of tropical fruit and a dash of vanilla. Solid and drinkable. B. Nektar I <3 U
