375 ml bottle. The mead is a clear gold. Still. Aroma has a strong pineapple and vanilla icecream character. Sweet and fruity. Pineapple comes through well.

Bottle… Pours clear and yellow with long, sexy legs. The aroma doesn’t offer much in the way of coconut, but there’s plenty of pineapple cider here. There is also a generous ration of wildflower honey and ethanol in the nose. I would imagine the honey used was a product of Michigan bees and Michigan wildflowers. Full-bodied, velvety and still. I enjoy mead most at room temperature and this really opens up once warm - offering sweet honey, tangy pineapple and warming alcohol. There’s just a hint of acidity in the finish. No more and no less than the level I enjoy the most. No coconut here, but delicious nonetheless.

Sample at B. Nektar on 12/11/16. Clear yellow pour, still, with no legs. Aroma of honey and pineapple. Not picking up any coconut notes. Pineapple and honey flavor with a warm finish. Not picking up much coconut on the flavor either; just a little as it warms. Still pretty damn tasty though.

On tap @ B. Nektar. Pour is hazy yellow with no head. Notes of pineapple juice, honey, booze, and a touch of coconut. Finish is very boozy with a bit of sweet pineapple pulp.

Bottle. Aroma is huge grilled pineapple with sweet honey. Tastes the same with some mild vanilla. Can’t get any coconut on this. I love it but wish there was a litttle coconut.
