Handpull cask at the Elm Tree. Dark gold or honey brown. Take your pick. Not quite clear. Smells of TCP and fresh grass. Taste is sweet and herbal with notes of bay and caramel. Smooth finish. Good but odd. More odd than good.

Stuu666 (14843) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - DEC 17, 2014
Cask at the Standing Order. Pours light copper, nose is light zesty fruit, taste is sweet toffee.

Beese (3210) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 23, 2014
Cask at The Moon Under Water (JDW), Watford on 5 Nov 2012. Poured a hazy golden, with a thin white head. Aroma of cake, dough and some floral hop. Grainy flavour, with some apples and cereal. Finish was light resin, toffee and copper.

ManVsBeer (10953) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - DEC 4, 2012
Clouded golden ale with a small head. Is full of malts and malty bitterness.

imdownthepub (15332) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 11, 2012
Cask conditioned at The Royal Blenheim, Oxford. Amber with slight head. Quite a grainy, stewed type malt bitter with a sourish edge to it. Drying bitterness late on but it doesn’t save it. Not very good.

berkshirejohn (6655) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - NOV 9, 2012
Cask, gravity dispensed, at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading. Golden amber with a ring of translucent head; floral aroma; soft and fruity in the mouth, with apples and pear flavours; then some warmth and a sustained, gentle, earthy, bitterness to finish. Not bad.

wheresthepath (2395) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - NOV 8, 2012
[Cask at the Monks Retreat (JDW), Reading] Amber with a moderate white head. Some florals, some lemon, some caramel, but it’s all rather vague, bland and messy. A half-hearted attempt at a beer.

madmitch76 (25568) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 24, 2010
6th November 2008. Clear gold beer. Not to dry or bitter. A little sweet banana in there. Reasonably well balanced.
