Cask at GBBF, Day 4. Pours brown-black with a foamy, tan head. Dry, cocoa malt aroma with hints of lactic sugar. Medium sweet flavor, milk chocolate, some lacto, mild roast. On cask at the 26th Annual Folk Festival in Ely. A black stout with a thick tan head. Chocolate and coffee nose. Big roasted malt flavour with coffee and chocolate again. Cask @ Blackfriars, Glasgow. Dark. Bit mocha, bit coffee. Quite bitter taste, hint of laurel, hint of blackcurrant.

Cask. Very close to black colour with small brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, some dark dry fruits, mild toffee and caramel malts. Flavour is liquorice, roasted malts, some fruits and wooden notes as well. Rather pleasant and quite complex for being 4.5%.
