On tap at Cloisters in Edinburgh (named "Dark Mild"). Very dark redish brown with creamy beige head. Very soft carbonation. Light body. Nice smooth mouthfeel. Flavor is sweet, malty and it has a very slightly bitter aftertaste. I thought the name fits.
Cask at the Pheasant, Wellington. Pours black with a red hue and a off white head. Aroma isn’t much, a little roasted malt. Taste is roasted malt, chocolate and a hint of treacle. Nice carbonation and a nice looking pint. Not a bad mild but not enough flavour in there for me Grumbo (2846) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - SEP 3, 2016
Cask at the Elm Tree, Cambridge. As dark mild. Pours very dark brown with a lasting tan colour head. Aroma is very peaty, smoked, roasted malt, chocolate. Medium sweetness, dry roasted bitterness. Medium bodied, thick texture. Getting past the initial smoke/peat this was very drinkable. theprof (931) - Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - MAY 9, 2015
Sadly the best feature was the aroma - nutty with hints of apple. Appearance mahogany with thin head. Taste balanced initially but aftertaste leaves sour malt on the tongue. I won’t seek it out. niquillis (2679) - Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 12, 2014
On cask at Brewery Tap, Shefford. Badged as Dark Mild. It’s a bit thin but a decent mild with nutty, dark fruits. jjsint (3002) - Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - SEP 30, 2014
Cask at the Elm Tree, Cambridge. Dark brown, translucent, quite flat. Chocolate, parsley, cedar aroma. Confused. Bittersweet taste. with a slight balancing sour note. Very weak palette. Herby bittersweet finish and aftertaste. Disappointing.

On cask as Shefford Dark Mild at Cloisters. Pours a dark brown colour with a thick tan head. Aroma is dominated by caramel with chocolate and roasty malt also. Similar flavours with moderate carbonation and a yeasty linger.
