Cask. Pours amber gold with thin white top. Aroma has roasted malts bread and pine. Taste is medium sweet fruity with lactic finish. Palate is medium body, oily feel, soft carbonation, long finish. Tastes like a bitter with the strength of an ESB.

jjsint (3492) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - SEP 26, 2014
Cask at the Regal, Cambridge. Golden brown, slightly cloudy. Toast, caramel, Bisto, malt. Tastes a bit wrong: bittersweet sourness hitting the back of the tongue and continuing to the finish and aftertaste. Weak body. This is not one of B & T’s better ales.

UPDATED: AUG 29, 2017 Nice fruity flavour. Good strength. Really enjoyed this one. A nice flavour on the palate. Also can taste lovely apples and earthly taste. Second pint much better and have upgraded. Nice caramel flavour and hoppy smell malty. Good
