(pet-bottle, 100cl) Stout-like appearance: almost black coloured hue with a brown and short foamy head. Roast-malty aroma with notes of leather and sour dough, accompanied by shades of coffee and chocolate. Moderately bitter flavour, light bodied without being watery, mildly carbonation. Dry roast-malty base with hints of mocha, leather and dark chocolate; dry and roasty, also hop bitter finish. Likeable. 19.VIII.12

Deep black with little creamy beige head. Aroma is butter some coffee and dark chocolate. Taste is buttery some slight sourness. Finish is more butter and some licorice. Smooth mouthfeel and not too heavy. Too buttery for me. Ugh.

Tap at 20 PIP. Black color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, some lacto. Taste is sweetish, milk chocolate, light, slightly watery, some earthy hops in the finish. Some paler malts come through when you keep it in the mouth for a bit. Lecker, just lecker, although maybe a bit too light. Ritzn says it’s too buttery, but I don’t have a problem here.

Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, sweetness, ash, liquorice and bitterness Aftertaste was burnt, sweet and bitter. A rather nice schwarz.

Decentná príjemná aróma s vôňou sladkého karamelu. Farba je hnedá až červená, veľmi tmavá až nepriehľadná. Bez nečistôt a zákalu. Výrazná horká chuť s príchuťou kávy. Horkú dochuť prebíja dlhotrvajúca dymová dochuť.

Vom Fass im Brauhaus. Tiefschwarzes dickflüssiges Bier mit viel braunem Schaum. Schokolade, kaffee, etwas pfefferig. Sehr runder Geschmack. Erwas Säzre, bitter und süss. Langer Abgang. Das beste Schwarzbier in Prag!

At the brewery during a tour, from a PET bottle and served to us in glasses. Visited and sampled May 21, 2015.
Mentioned as a "Dark Lager 11.5 degree at 4.3% ABV".
Clear dark vrown color, fluffy light brown head. Mainly roasted scent. Hoppy, herbal, sweet, roasted taste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness.

7th Oct 2014, poured from a huge jug in the brewery tasting room. Pours a dark brown, almost black body with a tan coloured head. Aroma was a mixture of malty smells, with coffee being the major player. The taste was sweet yet fairly dry with the malts ruling the flavour completely, very little hop bitterness or involvement as far as I could tell. Had three helpings to make sure I understood the beer fully.
