MPA (999) - Amager (form. Nřrrebro&Aalborg), DENMARK - JUL 30, 2011
(Damaged notes). Black. Slightly malted aroma. Flavour is sweet, malty yet quite fresh. All that was readable on the note...

MMR (752) - NETHERLANDS - JUL 17, 2011
One of the best dark ’dunkel’ beers you will probably find in the world. The very unique smell might occur a wrong interpretation but once you discover the full taste of this exceptional, light-sweet dark beer you will probably purchase it more often and become a fan.

500ml Bottle. Pours a dark brown/almost black color with very weak head. Aroma is weak mostly of sweet and roasted malts. Taste is roasted malts with coffee and some bread. Very watery mouthfeel with weak carbonation. Overall a below average sampling of the Schwarzbier style.

Lubiere (13771) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 25, 2010
A dark schwarzbier with a thin moka head. In aroma, sweet nutty chocolate with light fermented and smoked notes. In mouth, a lightish thin chocolate with lightly peated notes, rather watery and boring in mouth. Bought in Germany in 2008 as Breznak Schwarbier.

tkrjukoff (4335) - SWEDEN - NOV 23, 2010
Pours deep dark brown with ruby notes with big fluffy tanned head leaving nice lacing. Aroma of sweet malts, caramel, hay, hops and bread. Crispy malty mouthfeel. Not too heavy body. Flavor is a bit pilsnery watery but sweet and dry hoppy with tones of roasted malts and caramel. Acidy watery palate. Finishes very dry hoppy and acidy. Very tasteful for a 3,8% beer.

Sigmund (7390) - Tau, NORWAY - SEP 3, 2010
500 ml bottle, as Březňák Schwarzbier, bought at Rewe Getränkemarkt, Erding. ABV is 3.8%. Ingredients include sweetener. Mahogany coloured beer, big off-white to beige head. Strong sweetish malty aroma, notes of bakery / brown bread, caramel and syrup. The flavour is malty and slightly roasty, but not as sweet as the aroma made me fear. Decent hops in the finish balance the flavour nicely.

CH-303 (2197) - Fribourg, SWITZERLAND - AUG 28, 2010
Appearance: Very dark brown. OK amount of tan head. Aroma: Dark malt, slightly roasted. Dark fruit. Taste: Fruit and dark malt. Smooth. Better than expected. Info: 500ml bottle, 27/8-2010

jaghana (6012) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - AUG 12, 2010
Bottle 50cl at Kaufland Offenbug DE. A brown ale with good head and very nice lacing. Smell in on caramel malt. Aroma is fantastic on dry dark chocolate, good hop presence, finish is long with dark chocolate and bitter coffee. Very pleasant and drinkable beer, quite dry, amazing chocolate aroma for a low alcohol beer like this, very good surprise. Near to some Irish stouts just less creamy.
