Beautiful deep clear red/brown, claret like colour. Sweet fruit aroma with a possble earthy note. Surprisingly full mouthfeel considering its a saison. Flavour dominated by complex sweetish berry fruit esters followed by a tart dry finish. Who’d a thought that dried hibiscus flowers would give a result like this. Very good.

On tap at the Tipplers Tap. Deep red in colour with a very rich fruity aroma, flavours of black current and cherry. Quite strong at 10.3% (on tap), could have come out like medicine but the witch doctors at Bacchus have made another great beer. Oakes (17685) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 1, 2014
Mostly red with a hint of pink. Aroma is full of hibiscus, very nectar-like, sweet and floral. Sweet, fairly strong hibiscus taste, and a bit sticky. If if wasn’t for the sweet malts and low carbonation this could be one of those Mexican jamaica sodas. DeliriumT (537) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - JAN 22, 2012
5L keg from craftbrewer in capalaba. Beautiful deep red colour with a strong flavour of jam. Deliciously sweet head and aftertaste. Hibiscus is generally a strong, overwhelming taste but Bacchus have found a good balance here. A very interesting take on a classic saison. mkel07 (5993) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - AUG 28, 2011
On tap at Archive. Poured a bright red to pink with a thin white head. Berry aromas and a tart finish but I think this missed the mark a bit. Tasted like creaming soda.
