Bottle sampled at the Mead Mountain tasting on 1/8/11. Very light yellow in color. Aroma of pear, honey and dry white wine. Agave is noticeable in the flavor, along with honey and a dry lemon finish that’s almost a tad minty. Probably my favorite of the drier meads I’ve had from Bacchus. UPDATED: FEB 9, 2011 Sample at the Mead Molehill tasting on 01/10/2011. Pale yellow color with a very thin white head and no lacing. Honey aroma with some fruity notes. Medium body with flavors of sweet fruit, honey and spice. The finish is sweet and fruity. Just average overall. KAggie97 (3529) - Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA - AUG 7, 2009
Pours a nice, subtle yellow with an aroma of chalky Pepto Bismol. Flavor is chalky Pepto Bismol with a clove/honey finish. Slick mouthfeel. What the heck is up with the Pepto flavor? Ernest (7744) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - FEB 8, 2009
