Bottle @ No5, DØE tasting. Clear dark brown with a thin off white head. Aroma light to medium fruity, light spicy and sour. Flavor very tart (barrel), light fruit, vinegar is the main impression, ending dry. Light body, watery, medium carbonated.

Pours a dark caramel iced tea brown with a thin off white ring. Very lightly tart aroma. Taste is very thin and light with just a slight tartness. Feels watered down and weak. Flavors are not very prominent. Not bad but just not very good.

Bottle from Rakuten. Clear ruby brown with a cherry cough syrup flavor and malty caramel. Soft carbonation. Ok but too simple and sweet... macro oud bruin seeming?

37.5cl bottle. Dark red brown. Thin to medium beige head. Medium sourness, light sweetness and bitterness. Medium body. Aroma and flavour is cherries, wood, chocolate, balsamic vinegar.

0.375 l bottle from 'Prik & Tik' (Tongeren), best before September 2018. Clear, very dark ruby with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish, slightly sourish, quite fruity and a bit woody aroma of caramel, brown sugar, balsamic vinegar, cherries and some oak. Slightly sweet, moderately sour, fruity and a bit woody taste of caramel, brown sugar, balsamic vinegar, cherries and oak, followed by a medium long, moderately tart, woody-dry, slightly vinous and a bit musty finish. Medium body, slightly astringent and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite nice, well-balanced but not overly complex.

Met aangename wijnsmaak, gerijpt op eiken vaten, met licht zure achtergrond, hierop is kriek gebaseerd. Foto's: http://www.beersfrombelgium.eu/nl/Bacchus-b-1020.h

UPDATED: AUG 15, 2017 Flot rødbrun farve. Aroma af rosinsødme. Sur og sød på tungen. Lidt kvalm i længden. Savner mere fad i smagen.

Bottle. Pours brown/reddish with a thin head. Aroma has cherries and woody notes, slightly sour. Flavor is more sweet than sour, cherries and caramel. Sweet fruity finish. not that sour as expected. still decent!
