Can or bottle, sorry, can’t remember. Malty, sticky, bit tropical, toffee and caramel. Nice. Maybe almost double IPA like maltiness. Good stuff sunevdj (4137) - Copenhagen OE, DENMARK - JAN 6, 2017
UPDATED: JAN 6, 2017 Bottle at in Stewart Island hostel. Pours a clear dark golden with a frothy white head. Bitter with a sweet undertone. Hoppy aromas of spruce with notes of citrus fruits. Malty backbone towards the end and in the finish. Medium bodied. Medium carbonation. Quite bitter finish. Skarecrow (976) - North Shore, Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - DEC 10, 2016
330ml bottle. hawthorne00 (4144) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - DEC 9, 2016
Light amber color with good carbonation/head.
Aroma is pine/grapefruit.
Medium bitterness with more juicy fruit citrus/pine body/finish.
Bottle. Clear copper with a white head. Aroma of kumquat, biscuit, mango and pine sap. Brooding. 7+ Lighter bodied than suggested by the aroma. Not quite as sweet either, with tenor register citrus, light tropical fruit and peach, just a little pine. Some blackcurrant. Moderate bitterness. Good, although the mismatch between heavy, "dank" aroma and much lighter palate and flavours is curious. beer-yum (1900) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - NOV 23, 2016
UPDATED: SEP 23, 2017 Citrus pine aroma in a golden amber pour. Hop forward balance dominates the fruity body through to the sustained bitter finish. Nice, but could be better balanced?

UPDATED: JAN 30, 2017 Stunning beer - easily the beer of the night. Each sniff promised a new delight, from lychees to peaches to citrus and then a good malt kick, then back to the fruit. Massive taste but not too sweet or alcoholic. DylansDad (663) - North Shore, Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - MAR 26, 2016
Nose initially shows a lot of caramelised sugar and intense tropical fruit. Taste is dominated by grapefruit and pine with slight lemon/lime at the back. The malt is full, flavoursome and chewy and never gets in the way of the hops. Slight twang of alcohol heat at the back. Very nice. Samtzu (606) - Palmerston North, NEW ZEALAND - MAR 16, 2016
500ml Bottle. Pours a deep gold colour with tan head. Strong american hop notes blended with an interesting New Zealand malty complexion.
