Bottle 5/19. Very pale yellow, clear, thin head. Almost no scent. Tip of tongue fizz followed by a swampy, back of throat finish.

Bottle best before 9-07-17. Purchased from Double Shoppe. This is light copper in color with good head formation. Aroma is a little cardboardy with biscuits and grapefruit. The bitterness is in the middle of pale ales, maybe slightly on the lower side. Citrusy and grassy hop bite is on the palate with each sip. Light mouthfeel with a pretty crisp finish. Cereal flavors comprise the malt body without any strong specialty malt influenece. A lingering grassy, papery hoppiness sticks around.

UPDATED: AUG 7, 2017 355ml bottle - pre-HBF2017 hotel bash - thanks VastActiv! (6:3:6:3:11=2.9)
Sweet fruity malts in the aroma, spicy and cakey. Pale and cloudy. Sweet malty body, full and smooth and a bit slimy. Sweet malty taste. Harsh bitterness in the finish. Roughish pale ale.

Naked Pig has a thick, spongy, slightly off-white head, a mostly clear, orange appearance, with a bit of glass lacing globs. Aroma is faint, but white bread and citrus can be detected, with a strong inhalation. Taste is of mellow bitterness, citrus (tangerine?), white bread, white bread crust, and mild caramel. Mouthfeel is high medium, and Naked Pig finishes medium dry. Similar to Audible Ale, in flavor, but with a more robust alcohol aspect. RJT

330ml bottle (thanks VastActive). Clear amber color. Small size, white head, stays as a ring. Caramel, buttery, citrus and vegetables in aroma. Bready malts, caramel, sweet and vegetables in taste. Almost flat carbonation. Messy brew.

Hermod (8062) - Vantaa, FINLAND - APR 8, 2017
Bottle @hotel room tasting, thanks Vastactiv. Poured golden color with a thin white head. Aroma has apricots, hops, floral notes, some sweet fruits. Flavor has citrusy hops, floral notes, hay, some grass and malt. Ok bitterness.

(Bottle, 0.5 l, at pre HBF2017 Saturday tasting, thanks VastActiv) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A quite bitter pale ale. Decent.

Tap at note room in Philadelphia. Enjoyed straight from the bottle. Aromas and flavors: Fruits, hops and malts. Pretty basic apa.

Back Forty Naked Pig is an excellent pale with a little extra. Pours a hazy orange-yellow with frothy head. Aroma is peppery and tropical. Taste is tropical, peppery with a bit of funk -- just enough to make it interesting. Naked Pig might not be wearing any clothes but it certainly packs a surprise.

cmacklin (1210) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - SEP 30, 2016
On tap. Pours a clear gold with a medium, creamy, long lasting, off-white head that laces. Sweet aroma of citrus fruit, flowers and caramel malt. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, orange, pine and grass with a dry, bitter, hoppy finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation.
