4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: FEB 24, 2014 Pours a beautiful copper color. Aroma is buscuity malt and earthy, citrus hops. Smells wonderful. Flavor up front is mostly just a hop bite but allowing to warm a bit, a strong malt backbone is unleashed, presenting a great pale ale. I dont understand the low ratings. Great hop flavor, great malt flavor. Light bodied, easy drinking. Oily mouthfeel. Everything an APA should be, in my opinion.
Can. Golden pour. Aroma of malt, subtle citrus and caramel. Taste is about the same. Checked the bb date, this is way too old, still.I can't imagine this being good. jbaker4844 (27) - - DEC 24, 2017
6% Mammaw’s Christmas Eve.
Naked Pig is a delightfully crisp, hand crafted ale. The German malts provide a perfect balance to the five hop additions that go into every batch we make. This American pale ale is tasty enough for any craft beer newcomer, while the complex character is sure to please even the most discerning craft connoisseur. So get naked and enjoy!Hops: Warrior and CascadeMalts: Two Row and Munich

Süßlich malzig in der Nase. Im Trunk setzt sich deutlich das Malz durch, dann feine Fruchtanklänge. Hinten bitter. Sehr bekömmlich. oobawa (1859) - Tennessee, USA - DEC 21, 2017
Honey sweet with a wet malt heaviness and odd apple and lemon undercurrents. Out of whack, in other words, combining the unwanted elements in both American and English pales. Finishes with a mild slap of pine and yeast, but the sweetness is untenable. Not good. Mpuntmuts (368) - NETHERLANDS - NOV 11, 2017
Clear golden orange pour with a huge white head. Smell is pilsner like and yeasty. Taste is slightly malty and also pilsner/lager like, or a blond. Not really a pale ale. Medium bodied and medium carbo. Not bad, not a pale ale either.

Can from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is malty and mildly hoppy with notes of caramel, grain, floral hops and light fruits. Flavour is moderate sweet and moderate to medium bitter. Body is medium. Easy APA with a rather restrained hop profile. Benzai (16918) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - OCT 29, 2017
Can @ home. Clear golden color, medium sized white head that lasts for a decent while. Smell and taste lightly malts, citrussy, lightly citrus hoppy and moderately bitter. Decent body and carbonation. Ok beer. Idiosynkrasie (8200) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - OCT 3, 2017
355ml can. Clear, orangey golden colour with average to huge, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy, strawy, minimally grassy hoppy aroma, a spicy touch of silage. Taste is slightly bready and minimally strawy, pale malty, mildly bitter and minimally grassy hoppy overtones. Quite earthy, lacks some fruitiness or any other refreshing quality. Meh. rollinsr (831) - Atlanta, GEORGIA - SEP 5, 2017
Pours a slightly hazy gold color with bountiful white head. Aroma is faint orange and yeast esters. Flavor is crisp with a little spice.

Bottle best before 9-07-17. Purchased from Double Shoppe. This is light copper in color with good head formation. Aroma is a little cardboardy with biscuits and grapefruit. The bitterness is in the middle of pale ales, maybe slightly on the lower side. Citrusy and grassy hop bite is on the palate with each sip. Light mouthfeel with a pretty crisp finish. Cereal flavors comprise the malt body without any strong specialty malt influenece. A lingering grassy, papery hoppiness sticks around.
