Pours a murky golden color with a couple fingers of white head. Intensely citrusy with lots of lemon peel and orange aromas. Nice and yeasty with a bit of bread and cracker malt. A mild spiciness and a hint of melon. The flavor is slightly sweet, and has a more pronounced spiciness, particularly coriander. The lemon character is pronounced and there is a touch of white pepper. Good bread malt base and plenty of yeast.
22 oz bottle purchased at Redstone Liquors, Stoneham MA. Hazy gold in color with thin head in the snifter. Aroma shows me rye malt, lemon and grains of paradise? Did Sam Adams brew this??? malrubius (2925) - Springfield, Vermont, USA - OCT 8, 2014
The flavor has a very sweet malt backing with pepper, lemons, caramel? Why am I tasting caramel? I don’t pick up any of the Belgian yeast character that I like in these styles. The yeast is hidden under all the sweet malts and pepper. Body is medium with a dry texture. I was left wanting some of the yeast flavors.
Bottle from Brewtopia. Clear gold with white ring and some lace. Floral spicy and herbal aroma with hints of sweet fruit. Very sweet tropical fruit honey candi sugar with herbal bitterness and slight medicinal/alcohol finish. Medium gooey fruity sweet and herbal finish. Pretty good. boto (2247) - Granby, Connecticut, USA - JAN 31, 2014
Draught @ Noho Brewfest: This one poured a cloudy, golden color. There was a small white head that leaves some lacing. It has a nice nose. Some spices, earthiness, yeast, citrus and wheat. The taste is also very good. Wheat, spiciness, citrus, some sweetness and dryness. A nice saison. nimbleprop (8437) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - NOV 29, 2013

Local brewery that I want to like but dont really. Very boring saison with some candy sweetness and a boozy finish. Too much sweetness and not enough character to the saison yeast. Really missing spicyness or any yeast ester characteristics. Ernesto987 (6050) - Arizona, USA - MAR 22, 2013
Just a normal Saison, it just of sucks, a little boozy which is unacceptable in a Saison oh well scarletfire65 (1472) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 9, 2013
Bomber. Bought in P-Town, drank at home. Bottled 6/12. Pours a clear pale yellow. Huge billowy head, very active carbonation rising from the bottom of my glass. The aroma is funky and musty, with lemon zest, yeast, and spice. Lighter bodied, high carbonation, yeasty esters, coriander, white pepper, fresh mown grass, finishes dry with dusty spicy hops. A very good saison.
