Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a chalice.
The appearance was a hazy yellow color with a rocky white foamy head. Lace was messy and all over the place.
The aroma had some Belgian sugar, citrus pulp/lemon, light hay/grassiness, white pepper, light clove, banana and bubblegum.
The flavor was basically the same with a lingering aftertaste of the banana and bubblegum. Some hits in the finish with some dry chalkiness.
The feel was about medium bodied with a decent sipping quality about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, decent tripel, I think I could see myself coming back to this one. nimbleprop (8922) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - JUL 25, 2013
22oz bottle pours a hazy yellow with some clumpy, white head. Nose has some spice, pepper, some candy sugar, some lemon, some hay. Flavor is sweet, candy sugar, lemon, orange, some perfume. Chalky finish. radagast83 (8624) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - JUL 20, 2013
Bottle. Poured a cloudy yellow color with a solid wispy white head. Aroma was a nice citrus character, with plenty of light wheat notes. Flavor was citrus, lemon zest, not bad at all. BeerandBlues2 (14018) - Escondido, California, USA - JUL 20, 2013
Bottle shared by nimbleprop. Pours hazy yellow with a small, fizzy white head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is citrus and floral hops, cracker and biscuit malt with fruity esters. 22 oz. bottle. Purchased @ One Stop Shop. Aroma shows hints of clove, light candy sugar and pale malt. Flavor starts with a sugary malt followed by Earthy hops and rounded out by thick yeast. Also, alcohol shows it face. The yeast is really thick giving a full mouthfeel. Certainly not bad, but not great even if you are a fan of the style. And I do enjoy the style. jimhilt (2633) - Bow, New Hampshire, USA - APR 20, 2013
Pours a two finger white head that fades quickly leaving traces of lace. Pale, murky amber color, ton of yeast left in bottle. Medium carbonation and light-medium bodied. Nose is yeast, flavor is yeasty and light sweet orange peel. $8.49 for a 22oz bottle from Julio’s Liquors Westborough, MA. kirk36 (223) - Peabody, Massachusetts, USA - FEB 7, 2013
Excellent dead-balls-on example of a triple. A bit more body than comes from a monastery. Horse-blanket forward, Belgian yeast all in the house!

Pours a slightly hazed gold into a tulip. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to coat surface leaving no lacing. Sweet yeast and lemon aromas. Dry and thin with upfront caramel, hay and toast turning to yeasty lemon before the lasting bitter pith finish.
