COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Groundswell is our Blond ale brewed in the Belgian style. We brew her with 4 different varieties of malt which results in a golden color and smooth mouth-feel. Subtle yet complex flavor components include pilsner malt sweetness, fruity yeast esters and citrus notes from the addition of Indian coriander.

From the 16 oz. can. It pours a light looking yellow color with a modest white head. The aroma is rather clean with some Belgian toasted pale malts and grass. Light to medium body. The taste has a pleasant pale malt character with a more dough-like finish. Mild bitterness to end. Decent enough.

Can from Maine. Golden orange clear with no head whatsoever and no lace in a perfectly clean Chimay glass. Crackery malt fruity peach and melon and pepper aroma. Mild honey peach grassy crackery malt with medium spicy pepper bitterness that would have cut the sweetness with a little more lively carbonation. The flavors are great but the texture is terrible.

Tap at the tap trailhouse with commonmac and samadouche. Gold with small white head. Off grain nose. Somewhat bitter, peppery grain spiced herb. A little off and a little flat. Not good.

Sunset Grill, Boston tap: pours hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is candied sugar and a hint of fruit. Taste is lightly sweet. Very simple and there aint really much to it. Not bad.

Draft at Sunset Grill & Tap. Cloudy gold, thin lasting head. Not much for the aroma, very mild yeast and a touch of fruit. Nothing off with the flavor but it simply just not much here: hay, dusty yeast and very light black pepper or zesty yeast hints. Mouthfeel is soft. Pretty simple.

22oz bottle pours a hazy blonde with some white head. Nose has some sweetness, honey, some spice. Flavor has lots of honey, mold spice, clove. Clean finish. So so.
