Our Helles is a refreshing lager with a light (helles is German for light) golden color and just a touch of hops for a crisp clean finish. Perfect for any occassion, the Helles is the lightest of our styles.
Note: Formerly Einfach Helles.

Looks and taste as you would expect a lager. However it did have a bit more flavor than a typical budlight, just nothing I enjoyed. Probably a good starter for someone wanting to get into drinking craft beers. Not something I would try again.

There is nothing bad about this beer, their just isn’t much good about it either. Don’t get me wrong, I would drink a six pack of it was in front of me.

Very biscuty and refreshing. Surprised this is from Iowa, not many big brewing companies here

12 oz bottle pours golden with a white head. Aroma of grain, grass and floral. Taste is grains and some yeast.

This one poured a slightly cloudy blond (consistent with style) and a quickly retreating white head. aroma was of a slightly biscuit malt, and citrus. Taste confirmed the same, with a slightly citrus/bitter hop finish to clean it up. Very drinkable.

12oz bottle. Gross buttery off aroma. Steam beer aromas, way off and bad. It really gets to me when someone who makes a publicly sold beer and doesn’t even have basic comprehension of the styles they think they are paying tribute to. Low appearance score for the lack of filtration. Embarrassingly weak and amateur.

Bottle poured a clear gold with a small lasting white head. Aromas of straw, yeast and light earthiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of straw, light yeast and light fruitiness with a crisp dry finish.

on tap @ Backpocket Brewing / Coralville IA --- Clear pale gold color, thin rim head, thin roller coaster of lace. Wheat and malt olpen this, and are matched by carbonation fizz in the palate. All fades to water quickly in the finish. There is some taste here, but mostly, this is a thin brew.
