Cask, Slug & Lettuce, Leicester. Amber, gold with a thin foam. Aromas are biscuit malts with red berries and clean spiciness. Hints of melon with earthy hops. Flavours are biscuit malts with mellow berries and a real Kentish character (not sure if I am making that adjective up). Earthy and spicy with dry tea. Some floral notes with sticky toffee. Pretty good. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - SEP 8, 2009
Cask conditioned Handpump Alexandra Kettering. An amber coloured beer with no doubt a red hue. The aroma is fruity and fairly dry with some yeasty notes. Dry and bittersweet in the mouth with the malts dominating. A so so beer.
