Bottle. Orange and poured with a small head.Lovely fruity flavour that impacts from the start.Very well balanced and deliciously drinkable. The nearest brewery to where I live and one one I tend to overlook. That will stop if they produce more beers like this one.

BlackHaddock (7312) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - JUN 11, 2017
500ml bottle (4.5% ABV) at home on 11th June 2017. Misty pour, to the old gold coloured body, off-white crown. Citrus notes to the fore with a tropical spiciness also. Might have chilled it too much, got better as it warmed a little.

Very enjoyable. Fresh taste. Up with the best amber ales. Good colour. No harsh after taste.

DruncanVeasey (8226) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - NOV 5, 2015
The Felix, Nuneaton. Bright and lacy with a beckoning gust of greenery, nettles, Darjeeling and grapefruit. Doesn’t quite deliver on that promise but has a go with soapy grapefruit, flowers, jellied citrus, some creeping almond of booze. Nettles and soap. Good bitterness. Barely a crumb of nutty malt. Solid.

MrBlueSky93 (524) - Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - FEB 12, 2015
Bottle from Cellar Door, Four Oaks. Pours golden, very clear, single finger head that goes down quickly but a small bit lingers. Aroma of citrus, lychee, lemon, grapefruit, touch of orange. Taste of initial lemon, then a touch of grain, a bit of grass, a bit hay, then lychee and grapefruit to finish. Would get this again!

Mr_Pink_152 (4980) - Lincoln, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - FEB 1, 2015

allmyvinyl (10613) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - DEC 22, 2014
500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. ABV4.4%. Also no mention of ginger. "Smooth golden bitter, Citra and Styrian hops give an intense citrus, tropical fruit experience" apparently. Pours clear pale gold, thin white head. Aromas are lemon and soap. Taste is herbal lemon, light grapefruit. Thin body, clean finish. OK.
