Can at home. Pours opaque black with a medium, frothy tan head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is heavy chocolate and roast malt, coffee notes, earthy and herbal hops. Flavor is heavy roast, chocolate and coffee malt, medium earthy and herbal hops and bitterness with prunes and a dry finish. Medium-light body and medium carbonation.

22 oz. bottle shared by Willrunforbeer, thanks dawg!! Dark murky brown a moderate tan head that dissipates fast. Aroma is roasted coffee, chocolate, ash. The bitter chocolate is a little more noticeable in the flavor.

Body is on the lean side even for the gravity. Dry texture, lightly astringent, over extracted coffee. Not awful but it tastes like it is old. And of course no canning date.

Not a big fan of this one. Quite roasty with a pretty heavy flavor. A dry finish but not for me
