Vinegar in aroma and slightly in the flavor with a bit of a flowery golden ale feel but so watered down you’d have a hard time locating any subtle nuances. They should have stuck with the Butt Monkey name. DavoleBomb (1867) - Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 17, 2011
Poured into a pint glass. I think this is the beer I am drinking. It says on the label, "BadMonkey, Chimp Chiller Ale, brewed and bottled by Golden Beverage Company, Wilkes Barre."
1.5 A: Shitty piss yellow color with a shitty white head.
2.0 S: Floral and citrus hops dominate the nose. There’s also a healthy bit of pine in there as well. Lots of fruitiness with pineapple up front and hints of mango in the background.
1.0 T: Holy fuck this is bad. Seems like there is about 2% barley in this bitch. Tastes like adjuncts and nothing. This has me craving an Old German right now.
1.0 M: Super light body. Undercarbonated. Basically nothing is done right here.
1.0 D: Just about every other shitty beer out there is better than this one.

Straw yellow in the glass. Light head which doesn’t make it look more appetizing. Slight carbonation. Barley nose. Sweet mash spruce and resin mouthfeel. You could really sum this up with one word "generic". Rated 6/30/09

Butt Monkey Chimp Chiller Ale
after reading some of these reviews I was somewhat afraid to try this beer. Actually-its not bad. The appearance and smell are average-almost what you’d expect a typical run of the mill American lager or maybe a sub-par ale to smell and look like. It yellow with no head retention and nothing particular stands out in the smell. Its would the average person would say smells like "beer" maybe with a hint of sweet.
I was pleasantly suprised by the taste, mouthfeel and drinkability. The taste is very smooth and creamy. Its sweet but still yeasty. The aftertaste is very sweet and creamy. The mouthfeel is above average. Carbonation is very low but its very smooth. This is a very drinkable beer. Completely unoffensive and nothing bitter.

Pretty ugly plain deep yellow pour with a light head and tiny bit of visable carbination. Aroma was corn and sweet malt. Taste was generic but still like it more than a bud.

Bottle. Pours a clear pale gold color with a small white head. Aroma of pale grainy malts and corn. Flavor was thin and watery with pale malts, corn and grass 502Che (999) - @, CAMBODIA - MAR 3, 2010
style percentage .8 hahahahaha. Bottle. Simple, a touch of fruit, but very boring overall, yet completely inoffensive and sessionable. GT (10017) - San Diego, California, USA - FEB 28, 2010
355ml courtesy of emacgee. Pours a clear yellow with immense carbonation and a towering, creamy, off-white head that has excellent retention and leaves light lacing. Aroma is laundry detergent, dryer sheets. Taste is almost nothing but mostly sudsy grains, soda water, light cornmeal. Powdery mouthfeel. Eh. Fun to try. unclemattie (4406) - Georgia, USA - JAN 7, 2010
12oz twist-off bottle. BadMonkey label. Pours clear golden color, white foamy head. Very sweet aroma. Pale malts and corn. Sweet watery flavor of pale malts. Standard Pale lager, better than i expected. roder60 (1289) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 30, 2009
Pours a clear pale yellow with minimal fizzy white head. Aroma is bit grassy and sweet, but very minimal. Flavor is sweet and watery with a slight toastiness to it. Overall, not good.
