Our rich and refreshing Saison fashionably suited the Bad Water identity by complexly adding a new age splash to this traditional style. The dynamic experience of our Saison is deeply rooted in our coveted recipe, developed with equal blend of art and science. Subtle peppery notes over a boatsful but not overpowering European hop yields a truly dynamic nose. A light grain bill of mostly Pilsner malts against an atypical yeast strain maintains the beers lightness for continued enjoyment with a fortifying flavor.

Good well-balanced and refreshing saison with a strong yeast presence, nicely tart bitter finish, and a crisp delivery.

Patrickctenchi (6550) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - MAY 9, 2015
Bottle: Pours hazy, light amber-brown with a small, off-white head. Peppery, yeasty aroma...light caramel... Taste is yeast, fruit, grainy caramel malt. A little dusty &musty...mild peppery spice. A little plain, but easy drinking.

shrubber85 (11324) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - APR 18, 2015
Bottle. Musty yeast, berry-orange malt, and straw aroma. Dark golden yellow with large head. Lightly sweet yeasty strawberry-orange, malt and mildly bitter hay flavor. Light body. Not bad - very fruity.

ttutony (918) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 2, 2015
Light brown with minimal head. Not much to speak of on the aroma, faint grain. Slight spice on the palate. Kind of bland for a saison.

yemenmocha (659) - Glendale, Arizona, USA - JAN 18, 2015
Very nice appearance with good amber color, slight haze, and generous head that retains well. Nose... hmm... banana bubble gum and a whiff of toast. Palate has a soft, wet cardboard taste, seems undercarbonated, and not much of any flavor in any good direction at all that I can detect. Finish has an off-metal quality to it.

AdamT (268) - North Carolina, USA - DEC 17, 2014
Orange hue, light hazy clarity with mostly diminishing fizzy off-white head. Virtually no lacing. Spice (cinnamon), light citrus, light malt and floral aromas. Heavy spice taste up front with more of a citrus, floral and some light spice finish. Mild carbonation, crisp on the palate.
