COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Launched by Kid Rock.
Originally brewed at Michigan Brewing Company and since 2012 in Brew Detroit.
It’s born out of of bushels of American barley and hops harvested straight from the heartland. It’s crafted with care in place where Detroit’s factories mark one horizon and wild forests mark the next. This beer’s built with Michigan pride. Pry one open and you’ll know: there’s trouble brewing. This is pure American Badass. americanbadassbeer.com

Bottle courtesy of my brother. Sorry I tried this. Aroma is more like sewer stench than beer. Pours clear lighter than straw color with white head. Flavor is more water like than beer. If anything its got a wonderful sewer like taste I suppose. Now that is Badass.

No aroma. Taste is well balanced and fairly robust for a pale lager. Somewhat sweet with hints of roasted malt. I think it’s actually quite good for this style and don’t understand all the hate being spewed forth towards this beer.

I haven’t been rating much, but felt compelled to do so because of this beer. This is by far the most tasteless beer I have ever had in my life. It took me half the bottle to discern it from water. I really wanted to like this beer too, because of the Detroit, Kid Rock, awesome name things. Oh well, don’t even bother people, it is completely a waste of money. Don’t buy it so that they will go back to the drawing board and put something worth drinking out.

Pours very clear, light yellow with a minimal fizzy head. Smells weak, slightly grassy. Tastes grassy, funky malt, and very metallic, even though its from a bottle. Typical american pale, lacking the badass. Somewhat refreshing.

Good head and some lacing. Very pale yellow without much of an aroma. Flavor is rather bland with a touch of rice in the aftertaste. Packaging looks pretty cool, but the appearance and taste is anything but the name.

Bottle shared by DurrmanSW. Appearance is super clear ass yellow, like water with a drop of yellow food coloring. Aroma is hair band metal and hippies, very super high premium cornyness. Very bland and not much flavor at all. SHITTY like his music, and thats why that said on their website that it was not craft beer!!!!!!! I just brewed a beer that tastes better as wort.

Pours up very light white on tap at the brewery. No head. Aroma of light alcohol. Not really much flavor, either. There’s nothing offensive about it.

Right, pretty much the worst beer I’ve ever had. It’s incredibly light with almost no taste. What little taste there is, is horrible. The only thing that I liked was the label. BADASS - AMERICAN LAGER. Sounds awesome. Tastes like shit. I’d take Miller Light over this any day, and that’s saying a lot.

Bomber. Pours a very light straw color with a fizzy white head that quickly dissapates. Heavy corn aroma. Surprisingly smooth tasting ,without the cheap macro beer bite. Very thin and watered down with just a hint of grain and corn in the finish. Refreshing on a hot and humid Summer night, but way overpriced for what you get.

poured a clear yellow with no head. aroma not much going on here got some malt and yeast. flavor corn, malt, citrus. the only thing this has above the bud and miler is that it has a fuller mouth feel. Kid should be ashamed of himself for being associated with this beer. But I guess if you are trying to appeal to the bud crowd this might go over big with them
