3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz. bottle, Binny’s singles rack. Deceptively pale lager color like any old Schlitz. Thin layer of foam clinging to side of the glass. Smell is an unusual mix of the newer hop varietals, some pine and kumquat over a layer of basic bitter nose. Taste is another upside-yo-head smack of hoppiness, with tropical fruit and pine tar filling in without the ale background needed to hold it in check. Light lager body means I am slurping it down much faster than I normally should. A kudo or two to the Bäderbrau guys for hitting one at the beer geeks and the Point guys for making it differently.
Canned 2/15/17. VERY foamy, head takes up 3/4 of the glass easily. Cloudy yellow-orange color. Taste is hops, unusually fresh for a beer this old. Smooth, rich and tasty flavors; flavor-wise more on the ale side of the spectrum, quite good. JorgeLee (2193) - Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 28, 2017
Can, Binny’s Lincoln Park. Hazy deep yellow, great lasting foam, prickly bitter grapefruit and floral hop note, long bitter finish, drinks nicely sat in the sun. Interesting to try these hops which I hadn’t knowingly tried before. onceblind (10322) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JAN 1, 2017
Clear golden with a thin but sticky rocky head. Crisp light crackery nose with little else. Crisp flavor that’s clean and blondeish and slightly balanced. Otherwise just a medium okay lager. JDBaker11058 (2336) - Maryland, USA - OCT 15, 2016
appearance: clear deep yellow, huge white frothy head, good lacing. aroma: fresh-cut grass, floral hops, lemon zest, toasted white bread. taste: bright citrus (mainly lemon), with lots of grassy, floral hops; then there’s some toasty white bread, with a hint of sweet grains, and a dose of pepper. finish: lingering dry, citrus/grass bitterness, hint of lingering pepper and toast. notes: Great lager. Lots of flavor, firm but zesty palate. Very likeable. Cool-looking can from the Rare Beer Club. floydslip (417) - Washington DC, USA - OCT 2, 2016
Clear straw colored beer with a billowing fluffy bright white head. Nose of lemon peel, light grass, and sweet corn. Flavor is bright with a medium bracing bitterness of citrus, a bit of pine resin, and dried hay. Crisp and effervescent, this is a drinkable beer for a hot summer day. Pretty good.

On tap at the brewery. Clear yellow appearance with a white head. Spicy, peppery, piney aroma. Smells very nice. A little dank. Clean hops. Low bitterness. Very easy to drink. Real tame. Homer321 (5166) - Melboring, Florida, USA - OCT 24, 2015
Fruity and citrus nose with some soft pils malt like white bread. Some sulfury weird yeast notes as it warms. Taste is initially citrus forward then a weird peppery thing comes in. Probably would be great if it were an ale. commonshawn (1311) - Minnesota, USA - JUL 30, 2015
Tap at Sheffields in Chicago. Gold with white head. Clean grain and mild hop aroma. Interesting balance of hops and light grain. Like a lager with more flavor. Drinkable and good if you want a lager type beer but don’t want crap. ryrpat (380) - Illinois, USA - JUN 11, 2015
Solid summer beer. I can see myself drinking this after mowing the lawn. Has a nice floral aroma and taste

Orange cloudy pour at barcocina with white head. Strong fruity apricot aroma. Taste was dank basement and a little unpleasant on first. Got used to it and was better later. Apricot and peach with nice hops. Overall it disappointed me
