Named in honour of the inquisitive and extremely fursty ferrets of the Gribble Inn, a celebrated golden brown ale, full of character.
At the heart of many a countryside village can be found an inn. A place where locals go to relax after a long day. At one such inn, rumour has it that inquisitive ferrets would sneak to the back door to cheekily sample the local brew. A sweet nutty palate, hoppy aroma and a hint of Seville oranges, give this tawny amber ale its distinctive personality. Recommended with smooth and creamy West Country Cheddar or indulgent pork pies and mustard.

Cigar on the nose, one head lemon. Crisp clean palate, this is not my style of beer, but for what it is, it's not bad.

bottle. drunk at home on a saturday with carolyn, joe, pip. watched a tenable marathon, then some rupaul. tenable is pretty great. the host keeps saying the word tenable in every exchange with contestants. its like numberwang. anyway this pours clear gold with a creamy head. aroma of caramel, biscuit, apricot. tastes really sweet, like honey nut loops, slightly tangy. creamy, not much hop profile but a dry finish. medium bodied. i dont mind sweet beers so it was ok and just fine for a lazy day

Clear copper color with medium froathy off white foam. Aromas of caramel malts and pale malts, bread and banana peal with hints of burned toast. Palate, medium body with rather thick texture laving grassy hop finish. Taste is sweet developing to noble hop bitterness. Sweet at beginig with caramel malt characteristics and bread followed by biterness of grassy and herbal hops. Overall, very average bitter. Not bad but not amazing but not my type of beer.

Lattina.

Served in a snifter from a 500ml bottle. Pours clear golden amber with a thick off-white slowly decreasing head. Aroma is caramel malt, bread, grassy hops and gentle floral notes. Taste is caramel malts, very well balanced bitter-sweet with a soft slightly bitter finish. Smooth medium body with medium carbonation. Extremely enjoyable, easy do drink and definitely "moreish". Nice brew!
