Previously called Golden Champion Ale
The light, refreshing character of our award-winning golden ale is distinguished by its subtle elderflower aroma, reminiscent of a summer’s evening. Champion is particularly rewarding when served chilled. On a balmy evening in Stanpit Marsh, a cool breeze blows and a calm encompasses the vast reserve. Amongst the wild horses, you may see Golden Champion, a headstrong but loyal stallion who enjoys the warm days grazing in th fields. The subtle elderflower aromas of this delicately floral brew are reminiscent of a summer’s evening. This divine all-rounder is a great companion for smoky, chargrilled chicken and peppery rocket salad.

Nice beer for those who enjoy a sweet finish, though I found it a bit too sweet. Very refreshing. Bought to complete my tasting of the Badger beers. Decent. 7/10.

Bottle @ friends/Richter Appearance: pours clear amber with good soapy white head and some lacing. aroma/taste: barley, caramel, toffee, elderflower, citrus and some floral notes. palette: medium carbonation, medium body, notable grain sweetness, average bitterness, medium duration and an oily texture. Overall: refreshing and tasteful golden ale

Nice orange golden color, white head, some lacing. Flowery, edelflower and mineral aroma. Same in taste with some barnyard, basement notes which are dissonant here IMO.

Flabby and dull. Nowhere near the advertised "crisp". Mild honey, mild bitterness and sour dishwater finish. Stale smell, thin mouthfeel. Crap. Just Crap.

Według mnie najlepsze jak dotąd piwo z browaru Badger. Bardzo przyjemny i pijalny golden ale. Nie jest to piwo przy którym szczęka opada z wrażenia, ale jest delikatne i orzeźwiające, świetne na lato.

Origin: Bottle. Vessel: Pint Glass. Supplier: ASDA (Bristol). Rising floral scent and taste which doesn’t quite resolve.

Bamsen78 (5327) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAR 16, 2015
Bottle. Pours clear darkish golden with stable white head. Clear aroma of hops, malt and yeast, with fruity and citric notes. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with notes of malt and fruit, touches of yeast and some bready and citric hints. Estery and slightly citric aftertaste. Well-balanced and easily drinkable but nothing really extraordinary.

Bottle received as a gift. Really nice stuff, pours clear deep orange colour. Thin but lasting head. Delicate flavours of fruit. Lovely summery ale
