Bottle pour at Buffalo Tap in Savage, MN. Crisp palate with the expect bitterness on the taste, but not the aromas.
Poured from can...sweet malty nose...mouth has nice balance with hops on finish...not to bitter...pretty solid brew bytemesis (8219) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - JUN 22, 2016
Can. Pours clear orange, medium beige head, good lacing. Aroma is malty, grain, caramel, bread, citrus. Flavor is light sweet, light plus bitter, malty, caramel, pine, hints of orange zest. Medium body. Not bad. AaronTDubs (500) - - DEC 11, 2015
Nice balance. Malty, hoppy, delicious. Drank it on a boat, so I didn’t get any aromas or color...delicious though...at least in the sun. portableparty (2345) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - SEP 14, 2015
12 oz. bottle. Pours an amber color with thin soapy foamy head that hangs around. Smells of caramel malt little sweet spice. Taste is slightly bitter with the above, caramel malt light sweet spice. Palate is thin to medium and pretty damn smooth. I like this! Tasty easy drinking brew, with nice balanced flavor! kambei70 (1036) - - JUL 16, 2015

Can shared poured a medium to dark yellow with white head. Aroma is medium malt and a nice mild to medium bitterness. Flavor is surprisingly good. Nice bitterness in the middle. One of there better beers. deyholla (11481) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - OCT 20, 2014
Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a touch of orange and a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of bread and grain notes with a touch of earthy grass backing. Flavor combines sweet grains with a touch of light fruits and a bit of grass. TripCampbell (13) - USA - AUG 30, 2014
Balanced brown. 47 IBU. Seems like it shouldn’t be bitter at all, but enough to give it just the right finish heemer77 (5355) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - JUL 28, 2014
Hazy reddish copper body with a long lasting khaki head. Old library books and pears are the dominant smells. Notes of ginger are present. Metallic notes are up front with oranges and oxidized old paper. I get a little bit of black tea along with hard strawberry candy in the finish. A nice ESB. UPDATED: OCT 13, 2014 Very good attempt at a bitter, not much hop bite as expected for a bitter in the British style.Very good malt flavor, again, in the British style. This is very nice actually, and fairly true to style.
