Bottle. Really not very good. Carbonated beyond belief, some off flavors...i dunno, the rye did nothing for me on this. Trev (2023) - Lakeville, Minnesota, USA - OCT 8, 2012
dark gold to amber pour with a thin head.
pale malt and grainy rye aroma with some hints of grassy hop.
flavour is on the lighter side, more of the same though with a grainy malty body, hint of spicy rye and light hop presence.
Agreeable enough though. bookman10 (1213) - Osseo, Minnesota, USA - JAN 25, 2013
Pours an amber-orange with mid-sized head. Aroma is pretty run-of-the-mill, dominated by malt and grain. Flavor is quite spicy, almost pepper-like (reminds me of Furthermore’s Knotstock), with some hoppiness in reserve. Finish is rather bitter. Interesting but not my favorite. Straw colored with a thin white head that blankets the sides of the glass. Aroma is floral hops, slight rye and pepper, but more wet hay and cereal. Flavor is mildly bitter, mostly watery. Body is light and easy drinking. Wanted more rye flavor. More of a summer beer. mnmike (1091) - Minnesota, USA - APR 2, 2013
Bottle pour - belgian notes abound here with this drinkable crisp brew that is slightly above average.

Pours golden amber with a nice head that lasts forever - looks amazing. Aroma is complex and very nice - peaches, pine, caramel, spices... it keeps changing. After being nearly perfect so far, the taste doesn’t quite live up. It covers a few different bases, from hops to malts, sweet to bitter, tang and rye, but nothing quite stands out. The taste does several things averagely. Palate is heavy carbonation - some foam still remaining even after the beer is gone. camborne (1029) - Hopkins, Minnesota, USA - DEC 20, 2012
Alot going on. Spices and something bitter are predominate. Its ok but not my favorite

Great brew on tap at Stanley’s. Taste is slightly bitter but nice rye flavor. oneeighthcuban (106) - - APR 28, 2013
Smells is slightly hoppy, belgiany, as well as rye character. Tastes spicy with a rye tasting finish. Plenty of hops and bitterness as well. tfratzke (98) - St. Paul, Minnesota, USA - MAY 2, 2014
Copper brown color. Little to no aroma. Taste is sweet malt. Tiny bit of rye spice, hardly any hop bitterness. Super watery finish. Meh.
